Steps

1. Submit talking Points

To secure your spot in a semi-final, tell us about a STEM concept and how it has the potential to benefit Australia economically, socially, or environmentally.

2. PREP Workshops

Come along to our three prep workshops and learn how to craft your presentation and master the art of public speaking.
 

3. Semi-Finals and Grand Final

Put your skills into action by presenting at your local semi-final, with the top 8 speakers from across Melbourne competing for the grand prize at our Let's Torque Grand Final!

What does a presentation look like?

The STEM concept

Outline the core science and tech behind your idea, so that a general audience can understand the theory behind it.

the impact

Explain how the STEM concept can be applied to offer a solution and create something of value.

Meet our 2018 Winners

Our Grand Final was held in September 2018 at the Royal Society of Victoria, with the audience treated to eight fantastic presentations on a wide variety of topics. Congratulations to our finalists and winners!
